is a branch of Pure Surfing Experience, Inc., created in 1997 by master surfer, instructor, lifeguard, and waterman Jim Miller.
Tommy Ostendorf, Director of the El Porto Surf School and Campsurf, was tutored as a surfer
and surf instructor by Jim beginning at age thirteen and has continued to follow in Jim’s footsteps. Sadly, Jim passed away before his time in 2004, but his legacy
